John Faisandier
John is an outstanding communicator and trainer. He received the NZATD Educational Trust Training Award 2008 for Facilitation of the TUF: Thriving Under Fire programme. Experiences when he was a Catholic priest, race relations mediator, psychodramatist, business trainer and conference presenter have sharpened John's interpersonal skills - which he shares with you in the book.
He lives in Wellington with Sally his wife and Felix their teenage son.
John grew up in Wellington and when 18 years old lived in Tonga for a year before entering the Mt St Mary's Seminary in Hawkes Bay - best known as the home of Mission Wines. After studying there for 8 years he worked in secondary teaching, parish ministry and university chapliancy before deciding to move on to other things.
He met Sally soon after leaving the priesthood in 1990 and they have been together ever since.
John worked in the Race Relations Office in Christchurch and Queen Mary Hospital in Hanmer Springs before moving back to Wellington in 1999.
He has been running his own business since then and in the past 4 years has focused solely on the TUF: Thriving Under Fire programme.
This is his first book.
